Terms of Service

1. What Delayed.ca is — and isn’t

Delayed.ca is self-help software. It provides legal information and document-preparation tools: it retrieves public flight and weather data, explains the published rules of Canada’s Air Passenger Protection Regulations (SOR/2019-150), and assembles documents from facts you enter and confirm yourself.

Delayed.ca is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice or legal representation, and using it creates no lawyer–client relationship. We do not review your individual situation, recommend a course of action, predict outcomes, or act on your behalf. Every document the service assembles is yours: you review it, correct it, sign it where applicable, and submit or file it in your own name, through your own accounts. Consider having a licensed lawyer or paralegal review any document before you rely on it.

2. Free alternatives exist

You can pursue an air passenger claim entirely for free, without this service: airlines accept claims directly, the Canadian Transportation Agency’s complaint process is free for passengers, and free guides and templates are published by organizations such as Air Passenger Rights. Delayed.ca sells convenience and preparation — not access.

3. Your responsibilities

The documents the service assembles are only as accurate as the facts you provide. You confirm that the information you enter is true, complete, and yours to provide; you review every document before sending it; and you are responsible for meeting any deadline that applies to your claim. Data retrieved from public sources (flight tracking, weather archives) can contain errors or gaps — verify anything material before relying on it.

4. Fees and refunds

Checking a flight and assembling a kit preview is free. Unlocking a claim kit costs a one-time flat fee of $49 CAD per booking, payable before the full kit is delivered. We never take a percentage of any compensation you recover — whatever the airline pays you is entirely yours.

If your kit fails to generate, contains a material data error we cannot correct, or you are otherwise unhappy with it, contact us within 15 days of purchase at info@anchorape.com and we will refund you. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable right you hold under applicable consumer protection law.

5. No guarantee of outcome

Whether an airline, tribunal, or court pays or upholds any claim depends on facts and decisions outside our control. We make no representation about the outcome of any claim, and statistics quoted on this site describe aggregate published data, not your case.

6. Acceptable use

Use the service only for claims about flights you (or people who have authorized you) actually travelled on, and only with facts you believe to be true. Automated scraping, resale of generated documents as a service, and attempts to access other users’ kits are prohibited.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Delayed.ca’s total liability arising out of the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. The service is provided “as is.” Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Newfoundland and Labrador and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. We may update these terms; the version date above changes when we do, and material changes will be noted on this page. Questions: info@anchorape.com.
